The myth that West Virginia is actually part of America is a hard one to learn, but when you do learn even if it is the hard way, you know for sure. That situation goes double in Gilmer County!
This part of West Virginia is often recognized by well laid nests of crime clubs where bribery, extortion, nepotism and sleaze are ways of life. Local governments in West Virginia are today more often than not corrupt as all get out, but specifically Gilmer County – and we have well documented proof of corruption!

“What is the purpose of electing officials to run local government … of choosing leaders?”
If you have ever given this question some thought, the chances are you figured that they exist to serve us, but in Gilmer County an elite group has formed to serve themselves — and like minded affluent and are known locally as the Gilmer County Power Elite, or even better known as the Crooks from Crooked County that live down by the Crooked River!
The Secret Seven Coalition leaders in the FREE PRESS movement in Central WV are tackling ethics complaints from citizens involving public official’s almost daily and publishing weekly articles that often involve acts of misconduct in Gilmer County government or justice system which has a reputation for corruption, which also includes close political ties to Charleston. But mostly many of them have been pubic hair servants for all the sex scandals in Gilmer County that have become famous over the years!
We have a saying in the Central WV SS, “Penny for your thoughts,” for long time SS member Penny and “Bunny for your wiener” as long time SS member BUNNY and original Cal Patty Press chick since 2006 shows us how to suck a Crooked County wiener in honor of the boyfriend of Crystal Metz Jeremy “Wagging his Wiener,” Wagner who was an adult in charge of the totally out of control high school STATE Tournament VOLLEY BALL event.
Glenville, the county seat of Gilmer County is now known for drugs and illicit, unethical, immoral debauchery that has made it to the pages of the Gilmer Free Press and these accounts are personal accounts of people that were there and/or Police reports!
In most places in America individuals clearly work for government because they are altruists, wanting to do what is best for everybody, regardless of their own self interest, of course, ….but this isn’t America, this is West Virginia!
And more specifically CROOKED COUNTY where they murdered FRED HILL!!

Judge Richard A Facemire the Judge that has had the most reversals by the WV Supreme Court in the last couple of years,has even more misconduct complaints revealed soon and will have to make a decision to recuse himself when the motion is filed to bring the “Travesty of Justice” case back before the Gilmer County 14th district circuit court on the grounds that new evidence was discovered that proves Hough paid to have a state witness commit perjury involving ownership of property.
Well, it may be the devil or it may be the Lord of IKE, but you’re gonna have to serve somebody. You may be rich or poor, you may be blind or lame, and you may be living in Crooked County under another name. You may call me R Terry, or maybe just Jimmy West, or you may call me Lady Titans Coach Bobby Duvall and my mouth will be at your lil girls breast, but you got to serve somebody at the CHURCH of IKE!
Whistle-blowers can be framed for crimes they did not commit, or even come to experience foul play. Dissidents are carefully watched by the police, and may wind up in hot water for mere expressions of opinion. However, anything can go on at the home of IKE MORRIS (shown above) …all you got to do is SERVE SOMEBODY!
Governments are basically businesses where large sums of money pass through every day, where licenses and permits are sought, where unwarranted criminal prosecutions often originate and where suspicious contracts and purchases are awarded.

Those who seek political position in both county and city government often do so for the basest of motives.
Others, like those in Gilmer County have become enchanted with the concept of power, and become corrupted by its taste. Organized criminal networks flourish in the environment of local government, and often the line between criminal, government employee or official is blurred.
“With the recent outcry for help involving the misconduct in the Gilmer County Sheriffs office and Deputy Jones using a Taser weapon on a citizen, we wonder how many members of law enforcement have a criminal history or other blemishes on their record.”
Are they accepting bribes from the owner of a local towing company like we have been a hearing?
An inquiry into this might include officials of both city and county government and there will be no answers forthcoming.

Speaking of SCANDAL and sexual misconduct involving the Gilmer County Sheriffs office and even the daughter of the head law man here in the town of Glenville, the latest involves drunken fun at the Gilmer County High School Volley Ball tournament.
It has been reported that Kim Morris, Sandy Pettit, and Bev Metz were all drunk on the trip to the State Volley Ball event. They took some kids on the pep bus and a group led by Gerry Hough’s daughter CARLY mixed vodka with Gatorade and ended up getting too drunk and passing out! Now, there is even more of a scandal to tell! Hell! Some party goers said they did not know where they were and finally found some people in the group passed out too! And then they fa fa fucked, cuz that’s what real drunk people do!
“They all drank Thursday night, went to the tournament Friday and then the real party started.
The boy friend of Crystal Metz was so drunk and fucked up on drugs, that nobody cared when he ventured off, and then what he was trying to do to the girls by pulling their pants and panties down and then trying to play with their precious feminine secret places!
Another one of Gerry Hough’s daughters, Lauren Hough, Carly’s Lil Sis was named as a chief player in all of the sexual exchanges and drunk shit and such.
The boyfriend of Crystal Metz was going room to room and in hallways trying to get the girls naked and play box banging bingo the Butcher Bitches way!

Also the boyfriend of Crystal Metz Jeremy “Wagging his Wiener,” Wagner were the adults in charge of the totally out of control high school event.
Carly Hough brought the hard booze and got on the bus that caused all of the fuss shown here with “DAD” the Gilmer County Prosecutor who is the subject of much discussion among out of town lawyers now that rumor is the “Tragedy of Justice” case is coming back to court with the sole purpose of bringing forth the real evidence and documenting wrongdoing that will lead to future jail sentences for those that were joined in a conspiracy to bring false facts to a grand jury and a felony trial jury.
We hear of policemen extorting sex from the relatives of a wanted criminal. Is all the cash collected going on the books or in pockets? That action has already been documented in the county tax collections.
It is well known that improper favors are always handed out to suspects. Drug offenses, parking tickets, drunk driving cases and the like are simply ignored for people with the right clout.
Slum lord housing in Gilmer County that is typical of those rented by Gerry Hough and other power elite that use others for financial gain whether they break the laws of the United States or not. Many CROOKED COUNTY CROOKS feel they can make their own rules and the rules of the US do not apply to them or their corrupt friends in power.
This, however, is amateur stuff. The real professional racketeers have a deeper stranglehold on the entire apparatus of local government. The power held by politicians and their lackeys often includes control over licenses and permits for everything from pinball machines, tattoo and massage parlors, to liquor licenses and building permits. The power to say no is also the power to say yes. This power is a commodity that can be sold, traded or bought. What’s the going price these days Gilmer County?
The power to award building contracts, public works contracts, the right to collect overdue parking tickets or taxes, and the power to hire employees all can bring money to a crooked bureaucrat.
There is no end to it in Gilmer County where the same stuff goes on and never stops. The worst part of human nature prevails when political power is placed in the wrong hands as Gilmer County citizens hard work goes to promote the gangster life on a country level and see that these thieves become the new bourgeoisie while the average guy struggles to pay his taxes and keep his house, never mind feed the family.

What can be done?
A thinking mind is never helpless. Making politicians fearful of the citizenry, instead of contemptuous, is necessary..
“Citizens who are vigilant and involved rather than apathetic can be a strong antidote to politics as usual!”
Informed citizens who carefully watch their local Gilmer County government are the front line of defense for the integrity of the community.
Without breaking the law, local activists need to select the issues that matter most and launch a campaign to embarrass and humiliate the people most responsible. Personal attacks often work. If somebody is guilty of nepotism, identify him. If there is blatant corruption, name them, but be sure the evidence is solid and documented.

Carly Hough had liked to look at her mother Tamara from a distance and she had thought her very pretty, but as she knew very little of her sexual prowess that was recently exposed in the press, she could scarcely have been expected to love her or to miss her very much when she was gone, after the scandal broke out.
In fact Carly did not miss her at all, as she was a self-absorbed child she gave her entire thought to herself, and to a fraternity at Glenville State College Tau Kappa Epsilon who then told some tall tales of Carly Hough the daughter to the prosecutor of Gilmer County pulling her panties to the side for a little initiation into the campus life at GSC. If Carly had been older she would no doubt handled things differently and not got so drunk or taken on some many sexual partners in such a small town.
Some college girls have been very anxious for being left alone in the world, and so had gone farther than originally planned on dates at the campus, but Carly was very young, and as she had always taken care of her men in the most satisfying way, she supposed she always would be a bit of a nympho, but that seemed to be her lot in life, especially now.
What she thought was that she would like to know if she was going to meet some nice people, who would be polite to her and give her her own way without having to go through man after man to gain acceptance among her peers.
She knew that she was not going to stay at the IKE MORRIS’ mansion where she was taken at first. She did not want to stay, but the local politicians wanted to meet the new up and coming law student.
The party raged on and she had been taken to a back room where Cocaine and some finer breeds of marijuana were exchanged, and the political party was just and introduction to the role she would play among the power elite of West Virginia, and soon found herself a full time boyfriend to keep her away from the political wolves that threatened to own her, and she decided to move in with her man, and continue her studies at WVU the college home of the elite.
Carly, after a few months hated their untidy bungalow and was so disagreeable to her boyfriend that after the first month or two nobody, including his best friend would play with her anymore, as she always referred to their sexual romps as play time. So, Carly went home just after Thanksgiving that year.
By the last month the boys at WVU had given her a nickname which made her furious. And it wasn’t what they said, but HOW they said it!
It was Basil who thought of it first, of course he didn’t know they would kill him when he first uttered the phrase, “Pull your panties to the side Carly!” “Pull those panties to the side”
Soon, Basil was in the cold river dead and then we found out his name was FRED.

There seems to be a disconnect with Jorea Marple. In a posting dated November 16, 2011 (http://www.challengewv.org), she was reported to have bragged that pursuant to the State’s seizure of our schools, strides in the right direction are being made, lots of good things are happening, and she is very pleased with progress. What is the evidence to justify her glowing praises especially in light of the alleged abuse, including sexual abuse, of our children attending the GCHS? Ms. Marple, what are your responses to these concerns?

Your comment about Jorena Marple being disconnected is so funny and so TRUE. They are all about as disconnected as you can get. You know it just might be that political thing again, because we all know most politicians are disconnected. Her statements of lots of good things happening in the school system, strides in the right direction and she is pleased with the progress being made also very funny.
SHE CAN NOT be talking about Gilmer County because none of those things are happening here. Now, if she would have said underage drinking, sexual abuse, drugs, lesbian teacher telling students to come out of the closet, teachers having sex with students, rapes, coaches and assistant coaches, one of them being the Sheriff of this county, some parents and other adults drinking while out of town for a tournament and the finance’ of a coach making sexual advances to the team members and trying to undress these students and a principal that says it is all ok, it’s normal.
BINGO THAT IS GILMER COUNTY!!! When will “they see the light” of what is going on in this county??
When will they see they are setting an example to these students of wrong ethics, morals and corruption.

I am so disappointed that the fact that these young ladies made it to states is being degraded by the actions of their elders. We now have parents scared to speak out because they are afraid they will lose their job, children scared because they are afraid they will not be able to play volleyball next year. Folks, these are the problems with this case:
1) We have our Sheriff who is assistant coach to his daughter the coach.
2) A boyfriend who is going to be Sheriff Metz’s Son-in-law, running around pulling teenagers clothes off.
3) Mr. Hough, the County Prosecutor who’s daughter was drinking vodka cocktail in a Gatorade bottle, offering it to other students who passed out drunk as the result.
4) We have members of the power elite whose daughters were on the team and didn’t care and chose to get stoned.
5) We have Sheriff’s wife who was inebriated.
6) We have a principal who just does not give a sh** about kids and considers this a normal activity. The one who encouraged student to party and celebrate for the entire week leading to tournament.
7) We have a superintendent who is powerless and does not make the right decisions because they are not what the people who put him in the office want.
8) We have an Assistant Principal, who promises the issue will not be swept under the carpet, but is not doing anything that we know of.
So, what can we really expect? I like the title, if you don’t get punished you will do it again – Failure of Sheriff Metz to arrest the real killer of Fred Hill can lead to these act by the people in charge. Just read between the lines.

Coach stop sending texts messages accusing these girls of spreading rumors , worrying about your boyfriend losing his job… If you were doing your job maybe you would have realized that these girls were being sexually harassed and in some cases molested. Other families might let this slide but we won’t . We are going to do whatever it takes to make sure you, your boyfriend and others who are trying to cover this up never come near these children again. As God is my witness your days as coach are numbered and Jeremy will be lucky if he is not incarcerated when this is all over. There are hoards of citizens with MAH’s sentiments. We must band together to use lawful means to fight to protect our children. Blankenship won’t act because of Butcher ties, the C. Comm. is silent, Marple is indifferent, clamps are on the local paper, and local legal system officials are sidelined. Our school board was neutralized, but there is nothing to prevent those individuals from trying anyway to get help. We don’t see any signs of courage there. Folks, it boils down to people power. We must stop the horrible plague targeted against our children. The powerful assume that we will talk, talk, talk, and not do anything. Let’s prove them wrong!

Crystal Metz is a killer and her father Sheriff Mickey Metz is a CROOK!
Why would you even consider having your children around these people!
I have seen the proof printed and published that convinced me that Metz not only makes false arrests to do favors for friends and the power brokers of Glenville, and is active in selective arrest orientation, a team player, but also a good old boy whether the matter is right or wrong, and someone that can barely read and write.
Great choice for a sheriff and having a “Killer” coach is the actual denotation in this particular instance that fits the situation precisely.
The Gilmer County Volleyball Team and Head Coach Crystal Metz along with her Assistant Coach Mickey Metz traveled to Charleston, WV to participate in the State Tournament on Thursday, November 10, 2011.
The state tournament started on Friday, November 11, 2011.
According to several reports, complaints, and concerns received by the Gilmer Free Press, the Volleyball Tournament for the Lady Titans was not just about Volleyball for those in charge!
Reports indicate the Gilmer Head Coach had an engagement party on the evening of the tournament leading to a state of intoxication.
Of course it takes two to have an engagement. Complaints indicate the Titan Coach’s fiancé / very intoxicated boyfriend was hitting on the underage volleyball team girls.
According to sources, he attempted to pull down the girls pants, hid in their bathroom, and walked in on them while they were in the bathroom.
He also chased the girls in the hallway. He reportedly gave two girls wedgies, one in the front and one in the back.
Further details of unbecoming behavior cannot be revealed at this time because it is not fit for publication.
The Community Concerns:
• Is the conduct of the Volleyball team’s coach acceptable?
• If the boyfriend stayed in the room with the coach were school funds used to pay for him?
• Where were the Chaperons? [According to reports, some chaperones got drunk as well.]
• Where was Mickey Metz, the Gilmer County Sheriff and assistance coach?
• Who was protecting the underage girls?
• Why did this happen at a school funded event?
• Why is the Head Coach still teaching even younger kids?
• Why have we had so many violations at Gilmer County High School in the past 3-4 years, leading to no punishment and/or cover-ups?
• Why do the administrators who continuously tolerate and/or cover up the unacceptable behaviors continue to have their job?
• When is enough enough?
• Mr. Blankenship, Superintendent; Mrs. Butcher, Principal; Mr. Chambers, Assistant Principal; are these actions acceptable? What have you done about it? We need to know. We are tired of hearing “this is a personnel matter and cannot comment on it”.
• Finally, what is the WV State Board of Education who made our local Board powerless doing about these actions under their umbrella?
The more I think about this situation the angrier I get. Parents feel helpless, young teenage girls are being told they are liars. Mr. Blankenship reports that to Mr. Morrison (state investigator) that none of the girls confirmed any of these accusations. What bull sh**! Not ALL of the girls were questioned first of all, even the ones that witnessed some of the behavior. Second, the girls that were questioned…were their parents present for the questioning? Considering the accusations were of inappropriate and immoral behavior, and these young ladies are minors, should they have been questioned without their parents there?????? Part of me hates to question whether or not the investigation was done correctly, however, it sounds as though it was completed with the intent of finding “no problems”. What are we teaching these young ladies? Once again, this is ridiculous!

Reading the recent comments this morning sounds as if all agree, that this unbelievable corruption in the school system and ALL the other county offices and the state officials backing this mess needs to be brought out more, and STOPPED. It is shameful what “the powers that be” that we are dealing with, are doing to this county. Of course, they deny any wrong doing
and according to them all these rumors that are out there are “SIMPLY NOT TRUE”. Ya right!! Do you really expect us to believe that? PLEASE…we are smarter than you give us credit for. Penn State Coach says what they are saying about him are not true either. What a crock of you know what on all of these situations.
A individual has suggested that a protest shutdown school day be made known to all Gilmer County parents, students, staff, Gilmer County citizens and all others, INCLUDING the TV stations both local and National and other news outlets that we are against what this county is going thru and that all parents KEEP their children home from school that designated day and have TV media cover it. Close all the Gilmer County Schools that day. Have the National news cover and televise why this is happening. ALL the corruption going on in this county, might just be bigger than Penn State news. Show schools closed because of no students and if the media does not cover it that day, do the same thing the next day until………the ‘elite” and corrupt people responsible are removed from their positions both locally and State and the school system is cleaned up and ran the way these students and county deserves. This might be a suggestion worth considering.

Is it provable that Blankenship investigated prior to the State investigator’s involvement? If true, what are Blankenship’s credentials to qualify him for investigative work involving juveniles, with whom did he interface in his “fact finding”, and was it not an example of poor leadership to interfere with work of a professional investigator, assuming that Morrison was qualified and 100% objective? Maybe N. Butcher or her staff investigated to brief Blankenship on findings. This entire sad saga contributes to growing mistrust in the County to solidly unite us under the rallying cry of—-WE MUST PROTECT OUR CHILDREN.

We all know what cover ups are….yes N. Butcher and Mr. Blankenship in all likelihood did their own questioning and investigating BEFORE Mr. Morrison, the State Investigator did his investigation, and if that happened the questions were asked from the ones in this elite group who we all know cover-up for them and then reported to Mr. Morrison, so he would know the ones to talk to and get the answers he needed. Rumor has it, not all of the girls on the team were questioned. Hmmmmm….. wonder why that is. Is everyone lying and making rumors up??? Maybe it is only the “powers to be elite” people that are the honest ones in this county and the rest of us are lying and making this all up.

Maybe the idea of not sending ANY students to school for a day and close all the schools in the county for a day, and have big news coverage covered by TV and newspaper reporters as to the reasons and the ones responsible for the mess this school system is in is worth checking into.

No sports and field trips are not as important as our children. However, the administration, State and local, some teachers, coaches and their associates and volunteers and asst. coaches think differently. This is why the team went to Charleston the night before the tournament so the “Big engagement party” could be celebrated out of town, and be paid for by us the taxpayers. Would be interested to know what this trip cost the county as far as lodging, food and incidentals such as alcohol needed by the coaches for the “team”. The team should not have gone until the morning of the tournament since they did not play until 1:30. WASTE of MONEY but that is nothing new to them.

… the superintendent was not clear about how the list of recommended appointees to the CEFP planning committee was developed and who placed the list of names in front of each board member. He and other individuals indicated that the list was circulated by a local media representative by the name of CASSANDRA HUFF who much of the time is hopped up as fuck on goofenthal! Dave Corcoran likes it that way, and maybe it is time we learned to live without the one-sided views of Dave COCK RON — for it is important the biggest of the suck asses have his name pronounced properly, as Cor Co ran. It was further reported that local media representative Cassandra HUFF from the Glenville Democrat moved around the table and marked through the word “tentative” beside one name on the list.
Cassandra HUFF over stepped her bounds and should have been (censored) like the little bitch she is just for thinking she could get away with that shit.
Some local individuals feel that board member(s) developed this particular list to include individuals who will support the majority of the board members’ desires….persons interviewed indicated a close relationship between some of the CEFP planning committee new appointees and a member of the Gilmer County Board of Education. .
Regardless, this is another example of questionable actions by the Gilmer County Board of Education.

Other problems observed were 16 licensure and authorization issues, several irregularities in personnel evaluations, incomplete mentor programs for new employees, inadequate physical education program, incomplete policies, and illegal preference for local individuals in hiring.

An investigation into F JOHN OSHOWAY an attorney from Calhoun County has revealed that there has been more than 25 complaints filed against him with the office of the ODC, with no result for those making the complaints.
Gerald B Hough the Gilmer County Prosecutor has been the topic of much conversation lately in regard to the fact that he had to actually commit crimes and submit false evidence to bring the “Travesty of Justice” case forward. OSHOWAY was the defense counsel in the matter.
The more their criminal acts have been investigated the worse the findings have been in a situation that it appears that OSHOWAY has been exposed for many wrongdoings, but will soon be asked why he suppressed evidence in the Travesty case, and why he bowed down to threats from JUDGE FACEMIRE found on page 240 of the court record.
It is believed that OSHOWAY although a paid defense counsel, actually was working with the Crooked as fuck prosecutor for Gilmer County GERALD B HOUGH to suppress evidence, and further aided their criminal actions with making sure power elite representatives were on the 10 woman 2 man jury.
Also, all jurors in the TRAVESTY case are being sought for an investigation into jury tampering by Gerry Hough, and you may be well advised to contact the court pertaining to that fact finding inquiry.

Why not designate a day to protest by not sending our children and grand children to school? Part of the strategy for that day could be to call in newspaper and TV reporters so we could get our messages out including to explain roles of Marple, G. Mansion, Blankenship, N. Butcher, and others. E. R. T. could be requested to make a statement too. All this is about the PROTECT OUR CHILDREN battle cry, and to do nothing makes us responsible similar to those at Penn State who turned their heads when children suffered horrible abuse. Dr. Simmons was the one “Super” they knew they “could not” control so therefore, presto, he’s gone without ever having served a single day. Which is what Nashia Butcher said would happen. They knew they could control Mr. Blankenship and so……. $120,000 of the taxpayers money for what??? Absolutely nothing except students in the Gilmer County system who will suffer the consequences of this FAILED state takeover to pamper the whims and demands of control to cuddle the elites egos and to show, “money talks”. These people have money, but that is all they have.

I agree with you about the protest day. It has already been suggested on GFP by someone else’s comment to do this and to notify the TV stations and newspaper reporters from out of town what, where, when and how this would be done, but no one has taken charge of doing it. Getting all parents in this county to keep their children home on a specified day and have the news media here, I say it is worth a try… I think the whole state should be made aware of this situation going on in our county and the bad administration at GCHS. I also think it should come out about GSC and all the rapes that have had nothing done about them and the rapists walks free on the campus to do it again because they are football players for GSC.
Kinda like Penn State cover ups and the turning of heads to what is happening. There needs to be action taken. It brought attention to Penn State by bringing it out, why wouldn’t it do the same for Glenville? Who would you suggest as a strong influential leader of this?

When the state takes over a school system and places their superintendent the standard pay is $120K. Your current board of education members is responsible for this mess. You kept electing them with their personal agendas and now you want to blame the state.
Gilmer Co has been on the states radar screen for along time because of the inability of the local BOE to get along and work together. If the BOE had worked together they would have headed off many of the problems you all continue to complain about. Instead they tried to micro manage the functions of the superintendent and took their eye off of the important things.
Gilmer County has always been a brutal place for superintendents because of the narrow minded people in the county who always wanted to protect their small community schools instead of realizing the system could not support a school in every community. I am so thankful the BOE in the late 60’s realized it couldn’t support 5 high schools and created GCHS.

Mr. R. Jones, the wonderful part of living in the USA is that citizens can speak opinions and you have every right to express yours. Would you express your opinions for the following questions? Do you believe that Ron Blankenship was the best choice for the State’s super, is he handling the alleged child abuse scandals with objectivity and decisiveness, why does he refuse to keep citizens informed about his activities to convince them that he is an effective leader driven by what is best for our children, what has he achieved so far to improve our school system for the betterment of our children? One more questions. Do you believe that it would be in the best interests of the community for GCHS’s principal to be replaced? BTW Sir, we are dealing with the post-Blankenship era, not the 60s.

Just read an article about Casey Smith in the Nov. 24, 2011 edition of the Glenville Democrat. Cannot believe that the owner/editor allowed this article written by Ronda Gregory Managing Editor to be published in the paper let alone it being on the Front page. Imagine that!!
Mr. Smith according to the article is out on bond until a hearing is set. I’m curious to know who went his bond. I wonder who the Prosecutor will be for this case and how long it will take to get a hearing date set???
Trp. Smith said he believes Casey Smith has been suspended from his teaching position at the high school but has no official information. He said he does not know the exact status of the situation. Gilmer County Schools Superintendent Ronald Blankenship says he cannot say whether Mr. Smith is on suspension or not. “It’s a personnel issue” said Mr. Blankenship

Are those words familiar? I think a simple yes or no to the question would have been a start. But…this is Gilmer County.

In this article evidence was brought forward that proved Gerald B Hough knowingly brought a wrongful conviction. After all the facts have been revealed, it appears GERALD B HOUGH conspired with others to hide a “TITLE” to property that proved ownership and he paid someone to lie on the witness stand about ownership.
OHIO authorities have said, a crime was committed and officially stated they believed Gerald B Hough to have been involved in a conspiracy that kept a California Broadcaster from reporting to a high power radio station in Louisiana just an hour out of Dallas, Texas.
In other words, HOUGH committed a crime and paid witnesses to lie to a grand jury to bring the case forward. And the state of OHIO believe Gerry Hough to be a criminal.
OHIO authorities now believe HOUGH used false evidence and false witness to get an illegal indictment, and then an illegal extradition. Law Enforcement and an Ohio court believe Hough should be disbarred, and then made to serve a jail sentence.
In West Virginia, the evidence was REFUSED and the corrupt ODC refused to hear it and now we found out that Jessica H Rhodes was FIRED from her asst prosecutors job for misconduct and then got a job with the office of disciplinary counsel and some have said is the female version of the very dishonest GERRY HOUGH from Gilmer County.
Jessica H Rhodes is the ODC lawyer that signed the refusal to accept.
Hough had it rough in 2011, but in 2012 we should have enough to take him out for good.

I just don’t understand why the people who work with Child Welfare cannot be held responsible when a child gets abused by teachers and coaches. It is the duty of these people to ensure that when underage is abused in school activities to remove the abusers from the schools to make the place safe. They remove the children from their parents for protection, but fail to do the same with coaches and teachers.

If they don’t it will continue, and no person, young or old should suffer this abuse. Please make your friend aware, it will not stop unless they tell someone they can trust and I suggest that person to be their mother. The mother will be hurt that her child is going thru this and afraid to tell her but she will be glad that her child knew they could tell her and trust her to do what is necessary to get this STOPPED now. I agree with you 100% and I to wonder why the Child Protective Service are not held accountable when kids are abused by their teachers/coaches/administrators and the CPS does nothing. If they are aware and been told of this child abuse done by the schools administrators/teachers/coaches they are just as guilty for allowing it to continue. These abusers should be removed from their positions immediately before another child is harmed. You are right it is their job and duty to protect these children. Calhoun EMS ambulances and police responded to an altercation at the Millstone Inn where a woman had reportedly been trampled and was unconscious.
Calhoun 911 received a call from the establishment at 1:17 a.m. requesting an ambulance for “an injured woman who has been trampled.”
One person being transported by ambulance from the scene to Roane General Hospital was described by ambulance personnel as being “unresponsive” at 2:22 a.m., summoning additional personnel.
A report indicated a disturbance was still on-going twenty minutes after the 911 original call.
The State Police and the Grantsville Police Department arrived about 30 minutes from the original call.
The Arnoldsburg VFD also responded to the scene.
The Millstone Inn is located on US 33-119 just east of Arnoldsburg.
Police are investigating.

In the Gilmer County High School pedophilia scandal and cases involving teachers and coaches, many wonder how the perpetrators get away with the crimes for so long and how the sexual assaults on children have been ignored by the principal for years.
Reportedly, teachers have seen the assaults but looked the other way. None of the other students would go to any victim’s aid fearing retaliations from the principal or assistant principal.

It has happened repeatedly, whether they are teachers, coaches or Gilmer County Schools officials.
Most of us have had that teacher at one point in our youth who made a significant impact on our lives. The person who instilled something no other teacher could, whether they forced us to use our brains in ways we never imagined or simply became our friends; we will never forget them.
But then there is the teacher, coach who makes a mark in a different way, a teacher or coach so wonderful that students love attending his/her class/team just so they could daydream about his/her embarking on a journey down statutory rape lane with them.
The sad part is good people — because of friendships — become paralyzed by inaction, giving wrongdoers an open playground.
The crimes only get worse if not stopped.
But who is going to stop them?
The Sheriff who is part of the crime?
The prosecutor who doesn’t take time to properly research a case?
The principal who thinks all of these behaviors are normal?
The Superintendent who cannot make a decent decision on his own?
The State Police who are controlled by the elite?
The politicians who caused the school system takeover for the wrong reasons?
The state board of education who gave in to politicians and the elite?
The corruption is deep, but we the people have the power to end the madness if we have the will.

The owners of the Millstone Inn are widely disputing claims that a customer was the victim of “gay bashing” during a fight that broke out during karaoke at the bar early Sunday morning.
Steven Long, 36, of Cincinnati, Ohio, received multiple injuries during a dispute that lasted more than half an hour.
His mother Shirley Ball, 63, of Grantsville, said he was beaten by three different males, a fight that continued in the parking lot of the establishment.
But, basically Shirley Ball has always been a lying alcoholic which turned out to be perfect to be a state witness for Gerald B Hough.
Evangeline Darling owner of the bar, says the fight started when Long groped the posterior of a female customer. When he was confronted by her boyfriend, Long said it was o.k. because he was gay, according to Darling.
“The man [Long] was out-of-control, continuing to create separate problems with other individuals in the parking lot for a half-hour, while our staff and his family attempted to calm him,” Darling said.

State of West Virginia vs. Cason Shaun Jones
I, the undersigned complainant, upon my oath or affirmation, state the following is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief.
On or about 10/09/11 in Gilmer W.Va. Code (cite specific section, subsection, and/or subdivision as applicable) the defendant did (state statutory language of offense) 61-2-9(c) Battery:
If any person unlawfully and intentionally makes physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with the person of another or unlawfully and intentionally causes physical harm to another person.
Misdemeanor NMT 12 months or NMT $500.00 or both.
I further state that this complaint is based on the following facts: On Friday October 9, 2011, the victim Melissa Marie Hess was at the Gilmer County Fire Department in Glenville, WV, commonly known as Station 1.
The victim advised there were several people at the fire department on this day getting things ready for fire prevention week. The victim advised the people there were joking around and laughing. The victim advised the defendant Cason Jones, said “I had something in my hair; he was going to pull it out.“ The victim advised she said no, she was going to take her hair down because it was clipped to the top of her head.
The victim then advised the defendant said “it was a lady bug”. At that point the victim advised she told the defendant to get it out because she was allergic. The victim advised at that point she realized there was no bug, the defendant just pulled out three or four strands of hair. The victim realized the defendant was joking.
The victim advised this did not bother her. The victim further went onto state everyone was having fun and talking. The victim advised shortly before the defendant was ready to leave, everyone was still in good humor. The victim stated she told the defendant “you pulled out some of my hair but at least I have hair”. The victim advised she went to pat the defendant on the head, she never made contact, then he dry stunned her on her arm with a Taser. The victim advised she did not say anything about the incident at the time because, her husband had said he would whip the defendant if he tased anyone.
The victim advised she received an injury from this dry stun. She advised she had what looked like two snake bite marks and it stayed red for a week. The victim advised this dry stun got her between her wrist and elbow, and her arm stayed red for the rest of the night.
The victim further advised the dry stun did not last for long, “it was really fast, it kind of went like zip, it was long enough to know I didn’t like it”.
The above crime occurred in Gilmer County, WV.

Here are some comments from citizens about the alleged crime shortly after it occurred.
This same deputy, along with Jimmy Moss, transported me hundreds of miles in chains and in custody, on what turned out to be a false arrest on false charges with evidence Gerald B Hough paid a witness to lie about. I was arrested while attempting to report to my new afternoon drive radio show on KBED 102.9 FM.
I was picked up early in the day after Jones and Moss had stopped for beers and a steak dinner, but I WAS NEVER FED OR GIVEN WATER THAT WHOLE DAY in CUSTODY.
My bail had been $250,000 on facts that have all been proven false now. Once I got to WV… B Minigh and B Martin were able to have me released in about an hour, but the prosecutors office had already talked to my employer Cumulus broadcasting and told them some tall tales about felony charges which were not only later defeated in court, but were false from the start. I was immediately fired from my job, and the charges were later proven false.
Jones needs to be arrested for assault and sent to prison.
They should both be punished for not feeding their prisoner, and for making a false arrest.

Sheriff Metz needs to come clean on many issues. What is it about so much secrecy in this county? Looks to me an outside agency is needed to just police all the wrongdoings by some of the officials in Gilmer County and their absolute abuse of the power. Mr. Jones should be charged with assault and negligence. We should hope to see him in magistrate court real soon. There are good people in this county and fellow law enforcement officer that get charged for crimes that are investigated by him. Why should he be any different from all of the citizens here in this county. A badge doesn’t give you right to do as you please with the power entrusted to you by the people of this county. This incident should be sent forward on criminal charges because Officer Jones used his authority and while on duty when he shot that woman. Nonetheless it is a department issued weapon and the fact is that if a person has any kind of heart condition can be killed by a taser gun. A taser gun is a deadly weapon and should be treated as one at all times and should only be used as a last resort to protect yourself or others, not inflict harm on anyone for your entertainment. The sad part is I know for a fact that the sheriffs in the county did not receive the proper training on the proper use of a taser gun and its effects on a person, because they all have never been shot by one.

What is with all the constant bickering and foolishness in Gilmer County? I get so tired of reading about it, whether it be with the Sheriff’s Detachment, School Board, or any other organization. I am embarrassed to admit that I am from Gilmer County, and it seems that so many careless individuals consider it just a laughing matter… using a tazer is merely ignorant and has no place in horseplay or any other action unless to subdue an individual (and then only as a last resort). Sounds to me like Gilmer County is falling apart. Better get your heads straightened out soon, as it appears to be a less- desirable place to live.

I think it is funny that you said you get so tired of reading about all the bickering and foolishness that is happening in Gilmer County. It doesn’t matter what it is about. Well, you did not read any of it in the Glenville Democrat that is for sure, because they don’t print any negative things about all of the problems that the people in this county are facing, because the owner/editor is “friends with and paid for” by the “elite”. So …… that means you are reading it on GFP and if it upsets you just stop reading it. Simple solution. If it were not for the GFP publishing what comments people write about and what all is going on, we would not know it either.
They certainly did not want us to find out about all the dirty work they are doing. Phrophet has had to face NO COURT CONSEQUENCE after an alleged rape in which the victim said she, “WAS AFRAID FOR HER LIFE THROUGH THE WHOLE ORDEAL!!“
This should be the last crime covered up in Glenville and Hough should be run out of town for his performance. Hough paid for the transportation of a false witness to come all the way from FLORIDA and then pays her to lie on a case which turns out to be fabricated by the Sheriffs office and Hough, but they can’t bring a rapist to court? A dangerous rapist! Hough is the real criminal and so is NO FOUL PLAY Mickey Metz!
You can believe nothing will happen to Casey Jones and as soon as we stop talking about it, that will be the end of it.
Enough is enough it is time to get rid of Hough and wash our hands of Mickey Metz forever!

Using a taser is not horseplay, it is dangerous.
If he will play with a weapon while on duty and at a community function, how can this community be safe from our own law enforcement officers? I for one feel he needs to be dismissed and charged with assault. If he is allowed back on the force, I will not stop for him, instead I will call 911 and inform them that Deputy Jones is trying to pull me over, I am not attempting to flee, but fear for my safety and am proceeding to the nearest state police station for assistance, I urge everyone else to due the same. I ask our Sheriff and the County Commissioners do their job to protect the citizens of Gilmer County and fire Deputy Jones. Or better yet, Casey why don’t you man up and resign, you have proven time and time again that you are not mature enough to handle the job as a deputy, you have used your job to settle personal problems, you are a disgrace to Gilmer County and the force, resign and do us all a favor.

Why has the incident has not been covered by WV’s main press? The story would have been jumped on big time for any other County in the State. Is it an example of censorship orchestrated by a local czar who bundles political campaign dollars for politicians to ingratiate them? Were it not for the GFP the story would be swept under the rug. Public exposure of injustice is a powerful antidote, and finally people of Gilmer County, through the GFP, have a state-of-the art medicine chest to combat our epidemic of local news management.
